Engr. Dr. Ndubuisi is a well-read technological expert who earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Electronic Engineering, specializing in Instrumentation and Control Systems from Enugu State University of Science and Technology in 2021. He also holds two Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: one in Control and Instrumentation Systems (2015) and another in Electronics and Communication Systems (1997), both from Enugu State University of Science and Technology. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Technical Education (Electrical and Electronics Technology) from ESUT in 1990.

A Chartered Engineer and member of the Institute of Electrical Electronic Engineering (MIEEE), Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Dr. Ndubuisi is affiliated with numerous other professional bodies.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Ndubuisi has held various significant positions. He served as the Pioneer Director of the Continuing Professional Development Centre (CPDC)/Nigeria-UNESCO TVET Program from May 2012 to 2016. At Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, he was the Pioneer Head of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering Technology from October 5, 2014, to March 12, 2020, and Dean of the School of Engineering Technology from March 12, 2020, to 2023. Additionally, he chaired the Academic Board Committee tasked with investigating examination misconduct cases at Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic in May 2019.

Recognized for his leadership acumen and vision for technological advancement, Dr. Ndubuisi was appointed by Former President Mohammadu Buhari as the Pioneer Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ngodo Isuochi, Umunneochi Local Government Area, Abia State on January 17, 2023.

Dr. Ndubuisi's scholarly vision is to infuse every academic pursuit with principles of moral and character reformation, along with a code of professional practices. He aims to ensure that academic excellence is grounded in skill development, fostering mindset reorientation in entrepreneurship for the emergence of socially balanced and self-reliant individuals suited for a competitive global arena.

His areas of specialization in academic research and development encompass Measurement and Instrumentation Systems, Control Systems, Electronic Circuits, Reliability Principles in Engineering, and Entrepreneurship Education.
