Our Philosophy
The philosophy of the Federal Polytechnic Ngodo Isuochi is hinged on its motto, “Skill for Empowerment and Productivity.” The choice of the motto is born out of our zeal to inculcate in the students and staff alike the culture of discipline and hard work to search for and acquire both practical and theoretical frameworks embedded in skills. The latency of this skill empowerment in the recipients is manifest in productive ability in any given environment.
The logo presents cashew nuts, which depict the rich agricultural soil of Isuochi and its environs. The cashew nuts are in a processing tube and are housed by a gear wheel stopper with tooth-like objects. This simply illustrates a strong connection between agriculture as a raw material for science, engineering, and technological developments.
The Polytechnic flag is made up of silver blue and is designed in the format of our national color. The color is very significant, for it symbolizes academic freedom embellished with the tone of purity, innocence, faith, and sincerity. The aims and objectives of the Polytechnic are tailored to fit into the National Policy on Education in the training of middle and high-level manpower that is geared towards the production of morally sound and skillful technocrats for driving national growth.
